Leather Wrap Bracelets

Ahhh... the shows are behind me- thankfully all very successful. My bags continue to sell, but my most successful collection this year has been my leather wrap bracelets. I couldn't make enough of these!
All one-of-a-kind, they're designed to wrap 3 times around your wrist. (look out for longer wraps next year- wrap 5-6 times around!) Each one is a mix of vintage glass beads, semi-precious stones, vintage religious medals & train tokens. Next year I'm going to do more of these, along with different multi-strand leather pieces.
Now that the hectic craft show season is behind me, I'm off to the studio to make my Christmas presents. My sisters might be reading, so no details, but I'll post about them after Christmas.
Thanks to all my Cleveland friends who helped make this season a profitable one! See you all in a week or so....Merry Christmas!
and Peace to you & your loved ones.

Last Minute Market- Cleveland Handmade

Here's a sneak peak at a series of new bags I'm working on. I'll have several at this weekend's Last Minute Market. This second year event just got wonderful press in the Plain Dealer Style section. Come out & join over 80 artists and shop for those one-of-kind gifts.
In this new series of bags I'm using these great linen polka dot prints with vintage button detail. All one-of-a-kind.
I'm also using these great ribbons and antique lace- this one is pink Little Red Riding Hood...
This one has deer, mushrooms, and squirrels, with a little ladybug button.....
....and more Little Red Riding Hood with glass ladybugs.

Hope to see my friends Saturday!

Last Minute Market- Cleveland Handmade

Don't forget to stop over at the Last Minute Market on Dec 19th. THE perfect place to buy all those last minute gifts. Together with IMadeIt!, the Screw Factory artists, and Cleveland Handmade- there will be over 60 regional artists. I'll be there with new bags & purses, and leather wrapped cuffs. More details here.
A HUGE thanks to everyone who helped make last weekend's 10th Annual TerraVista event an overwhelming success!

Hope to see you all at the Last Minute Market!
And don't forget- "shop local & shop handmade".

Vintage Venetian Glass LoveBird Birdcage Necklaces

These little birdcage necklaces are made with the real old handblown glass birds made on the Island of Murano in the 1950's. They were used to make those very expensive Venetian necklaces....
My little birds sit perched in a vintage brass cage with vintage glass beads.....
Only a few of these brass cages left- so I guess you could say these necklaces are a limited edition! Made to order in blue or red.
Back to sewing! Have a great Wednesday :)
